• Congenital abnormalities or disorders of the bowel, abdominal wall, thoracic, genitourinary system & vascular malformations.
• Paediatric trauma other than orthopaedic or neurological injuries.
• Burn injuries ( some select centres ).
• Paediatric surgical oncology patients.

It is a multidisciplinary based approach tailored towards providing specialized care for children and infants where the team members involved are those who are trained in Paediatric care. Besides Paediatric Surgeons, our specialty requires the combined expertise of Paediatric Anesthesia, Paediatricians, Neonatalogists, Radiologists, Pathologists and others who are specifically trained in the care of the surgically sick children.
